Research Study

A recent study was conducted with the intention of finding out what set of exercises would lead to the highest gains in jumping ability. The resulting research was divided into two groups. Group #1 would participate by using Olympic lift exercises like Pwer Clean, High Pulls and Clean and jerk motions. Group #2 would use basic jump increasing exercises like double and single leg hurdle hops, alternating single leg hurdle hops and other vertical leap increasing exercises.

Research Study Results

The study was initially set to run for two whole months. After that time the two groups were required to perform standing jump exercises and a 10 meter sprint. These results were then measured in respect to their initial measurements in these two exercises two months previous. The big surprise here is that Group #1 showed a huge increase in there improvement versus Group #2.

This article wasn’t written with the intent of taking anything away from the athleticism of Lebron james. Rather we would have you take away from this the idea that the reason Group #1 was so successful really came down to three things.
